Mistweaver Legendaries

Patch 7.3.5

In Legion, legendaries are plentiful and drops randomly from relevant content. At the start, we likely will use the legendaries we first acquire. Later, when you have several legendaries in your pocket, you have the opportunity to choose which legendary to equip for each type of encounter. Here is a list of the legendaries available for Mistweaver Monks, with a slightly more detailed explanation of how they work.

Legendary Quick-facts

  • You can only equip 2 legendaries at the same time (with the Class Hall upgrade).
  • Legendaries can drop from raid-, world- or dungeon bosses, emissary cashes, PvP boxes, Mythic+ and weekly caches, etc.
  • More difficult content has a higher chance to drop legendaries.
  • There is a bad-luck protection that increases your chances to receive a legendary. It increases at the rate of which you do content. The protection resets once you gain a legendary and then restart anew. More difficult content gives better bad-luck protection.
  • In other words, the more you play the game and do relevant content, the more chance you have to receive a legendary.
  • The type of legendary you get is dependant on your loot spec. If you are a Windwalker with Mistweaver loot spec, you will receive Mistweaver legendaries. Once you have all legendaries one spec, you have a chance to acquire a random legendary from the other 2 specs.

Legendaries for Raiding

  1. Velen’s Future Sight
  2. Prydaz, Xavaric’s Magnum Opus
  3. Ei’thas, Lunar Glides of Eramas
  4. Leggings of The Black Flame
  5. Doorway to Nowhere

Legendaries for Mythic+

  1. Prydaz, Xavaric’s Magnum Opus
  2. Velen’s Future Sight

Mistweaver Legendaries

Ei’thas, Lunar Glides of Eramas (Feet) – Mistweaver Monk
Uplifting Trance increases your Vivify healing by an additional 10% and causes it to heal 1 additional target.

Eye of Collidus the Warp-Watcher (Ring) – Mistweaver Monk
Each time Soothing Mist heals, the absorb amount of your next Life Cocoon is increased by 3%.

  • For every time Soothing Mist ticks (overheal counts), you gain a stack of the Collidus the Warp-Watcher’s Gaze buff.
  • It stacks up to 50, or in other words, 150% increased absorb of Life Cocoon.
  • The buff has no duration, but will reset when entering combat with a boss.

Leggings of The Black Flame (Legs) – Mistweaver Monk
Thunder Focus Tea also grants Effuse, Enveloping Mist, Essence Font, Renewing Mist, and Vivify 1 extra charge at random.

  • When popping Thunder Focus Tea, you gain one of the five random buffs:
  • The buff lasts 30 seconds, which means that it drops off as soon as Thunder Focus Tea comes off cooldown again (without any special talents).
  • If you talent Rising Thunder, you have the potential to gain several of these buffs at the same time. If the same spell procs twice, it stacks.
  • The legendary buff is removed before the Thunder Focus Tea charge if you cast the corresponding spell. In other words, if you have an EvM legendary buff and a charge of Thunder Focus Tea active and then cast EvM, you still have the Thunder Focus Tea charge to use afterwards.

WeakAura String (Blackflame’s Gamble buffs):

Unison Spaulders (Shoulders) – Mistweaver Monk
Soothing Mist heals a second injured ally within 15 yds for 50% of the amount healed.

  • A second beam of Soothing Mist emanate from the initial target, called Unison.
  • Unison is a smart heal and automatically seeks out an ally that is damaged, including the initial target.
  • Unison switches targets as needed, without necessitating a re-cast.
  • The Serpent Statue (talent) does not proc a second Soothing Mist from this legendary.

Petrichor Lagniappe (Wrists) – Mistweaver Monk
The remaining cooldown on Revival is reduced by 2.0 sec each time you cast Renewing Mist.

  • Use the Thunder Focus Tea charge on Renewing Mist to decrease the cooldown of Revival as much as possible.
  • Talenting for Rising Thunder gives you the potential to decrease the cooldown even more, if you cast Rising Sun Kick dutyfully on cooldown and use the charges on Renewing Mist.

Ovyd’s Winter Wrap (Waist) – Mistweaver Monk
Each time Enveloping Mist heals an ally at full health, its healing bonus spreads to up to 2 nearby allies within 20 yds.

  • Spreads the buff Ovyd’s Winter Wrap: Healing received from the Monk is increased by 30%.
  • The buff has the same duration as the original Enveloping Mist.

Prydaz, Xavaric’s Magnum Opus (Neck) – All Classes
Every 30 sec, gain an absorb shield for 25% of your maximum health for 30 sec.

Sephuz’s Secret (Ring) –  All Classes

Sheilun’s Gift also heals allies affected by Renewing Mist for 15% of the amount healed.

Velen’s Future Sight (Trinket) – Healers

Brewmaster: Mystic Vitality
Mistweaver: Mist Wrap
Windwalker: Chi Orbit

Doorway to Nowhere (Back) – Mistweaver Monk
