Shrine of the Storm

The Shrine of the Storm is a seat of power for both House Stormsong and the tidesages alike. Here, blessings upon the fleet are performed to ensure that the Kul Tiran fleet knows no equals in combat. Yet, a dark force has corrupted these sacred grounds and threatens to steal control of the Kul Tiran Fleet forever.

The dungeon can be found in the eastern part of Stormsong Valley, on the Kul Tiras continent. There are Horde and Alliance flight paths just by the entrance. You can easily reach the island with waterwalk potions or mounts.

The deeps hide many powerful secrets lost to time. A master of these waters, Lord Stormsong calls upon one of these creatures of myth to defend the sacred shrine.

Mistweaver Loot

Mistweaver Strategy

  • Put down a Transcendence at the start of the fight, in case you get knocked off.
  • Don’t stand in Aqu’sirr’s path when he casts Surging Rush, or you will get knocked off.
  • Detox any players with Choking Brine debuff, as long as they are not close to any other players (or it will spread). If the player doesn’t move, simply heal through its duration.
  • Avoid any player with Choking Brine to prevent it from spreading.
  • Use Roll or Tiger’s Lust when targeted by Undertow to prevent being cast out of the platform. If one of your allies is affected by Undertow, be ready to spot heal the player with Enveloping Mist.
  • HeroicHEROICGrasp from the Depths tentacles will erupt on a random player, rooting it and dealing damage. Heal the player while the damage dealers kill the tentacle.

  • If the group has high stacks of Slicing Blast, be ready for high damage. Consider using Revival at this stage.
  • Stand in Swiftness Ward to gain increased haste and movement speed.
  • Expect heavy tank damage when Brother Ironhull casts Hindering Cleave.
  • HeroicHEROIC: Brother Ironhull will occasionally buff himself with Blessing of Ironsides, forcing the tank to kite him. Keep an eye out for the tank if he gets caught.
  • HeroicHEROIC: Galecaller Faye will occasionally buff herself with Blessing of the Tempest, making each interrupt cause a Blowback tornado. Avoid spawning these by not interrupting for 10 sec or avoid the tornadoes all together.

  • Avoid spawning tentacles and dodge their Tentacle Slam.
  • Be careful to not let Whispers of Power stack too high, Detoxing when necessary. At 9 stacks, the affected player can’t be healed above 10% health.
  • After Vol’zith casts Grasp of the Sunken City, you will be grouped with the tank to take down a Sunken Denizen before you run out of breath. Once it’s defeated, you will return to the surface.
  • HeroicHEROIC: Vol’zith will cast Call the Abyss, spawning several adds that will explode and give him energy if they manage to reach them. Help the damage dealers kill and CC them with Leg SweepRing of Peace and Paralysis.
